Description
The mission of the Salish and Kootenai Housing Authority is to provide the highest quality, affordable housing to the people of the Flathead Reservation, utilizing all resources to ensure that services are provided in an efficient, economical, and timely manner. SKHA offers Low Rent, Tenant Based Assistance, Transitional Living Center, Down Payment Assistance, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program, Home Improvement, Weatherization, Water and Sewer Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering/Construction. SKHA serves 11 communities located within the boundaries of the Flathead Reservation. Applicants must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe; preference is given to members of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe.
