Program

Description

The Montana Family to Family Health Information Center (MT F2F) is a federally funded, family-led program that helps families of children who are at risk or have physical, developmental, behavioral, or mental-health diagnoses.

The MT F2F team helps families by explaining state healthcare services and respective eligibility/waitlists, identifying community resources, providing online opportunities to learn about supports, helping families connect with each other if they wish for peer support, and partnering with program leaders to advocate for families.

In addition to personal 1:1 assistance, the MT F2F conducts regular PoP (Partnering our Programs) online meetings featuring program and service leaders who explain their services in a family-friendly way, and offers fun, interactive online SibShops for children who have a brother or sister with a disability. The MT F2F also publishes experiences of Montana families with disabilities through Montana Voices Amplified. You can find those essays on the MT F2F website at mtf2f.com.
