Description

MonTECH loans adaptive equipment and assistive devices to any Montanan, any age, with a learning disability, physical challenge, developmental disability, or cognitive impairment. MonTECH provides free loans of: communication, vision, and hearing equipment; mobility and positioning equipment sized for the smallest child through adulthood; devices to help with learning disabilities like dyslexia; laptops and tablets for online classes and remote therapies/medical appointments; a HOPE Car Bed for transporting infants unable to physically tolerate a standard car seat due to a medical condition; tools to support independence in eating, cooking, and dressing; and adaptive recreation equipment.

MonTECH provides free loans of the above equipment and free 1:1 support, in person or online, to help borrowers learn how to use the equipment. While some equipment must be picked up in Missoula, most equipment can be shipped; shipping and return shipping are free.
