Services Offered
Program
Description
It is the mission of Aspen Assessment & Counseling Services (AACS) to provide the highest quality outpatient mental health and addiction treatment services to the residents of the rural counties of Fergus, Wheatland, Petroleum, Judith Basin, and Musselshell in Montana. AACS was founded in response to the challenge rural communities face in their struggle to maintain substance use and mental health services.
Just as mental illness is a chronic disease of genetic pre-disposition and chemical imbalance, addiction is a brain-based disease that requires a chronic care approach and is also characterized by relapse episodes. These are illnesses that require professional intervention and often multiple treatment episodes. The staff at AACS are committed to the provision of evidence-based, professional care for clients who are admitted to our program for as long as is necessary for the client to achieve stable recovery.
AACS believes that consumers deserve a choice in their selection of service providers whenever possible and strive to offer the most current research-based treatment modalities at a reasonable cost.
At AACS, we believe recovery is within reach for every individual.
