Chiropractic care can remove interference from the nervous system and improve function in the body. We utilize the most up-to-date, gentle, and low-force techniques to get the spine and extremity joints in correct alignment. In most cases, especially in kids, there is no twisting or cracking. When the spine is functioning well, it allows the brain to get the input it needs to improve, this is our main goal!

Our neurological examination shows what areas of the nervous system are weaker or less functional, helping us decide what side of the body to adjust. When we adjust on the correct side of the body patients get better, and when the wrong side of the body is adjusted, patients get worse.

Kimberly DeVries is our registered nurse and certified lactation counselor. She is President of the Flathead Valley Breastfeeding Coalition and helps facilitate their Baby Bistros, which are prenatal & postpartum support groups for parents & caregivers. She is also a craniosacral therapist and often provides this service as part of treatment.

Beyond the Brain Program

Our Beyond the Brain program helps individuals with:

• Essential conditions, such as low self esteem, stress, digestion/gut issues, sleep issues and dysautonomia

BEYOND THE BRAIN BABY

Our Beyond the Brain Baby program is developed for babies from birth to 12 months of age. Your baby will receive a comprehensive examination by one of our specialists in neonatal development to ensure your child grows and develops properly. Your baby will also have a feeding or breastfeeding/lactation consultation to ensure functional nutrition is working at its best. It is essential to look at your baby's development and neurological reflexes to ensure proper brain development is on track. This will aid primitive reflex integration to occur with the aim of assisting the baby's brain to better process what is going on inside their body and give them the best possible start in life.

There can be many reasons for the brain to not be functioning well, it is our goal to find any underlying mechanisms that are the root cause! Often times, key nutrients are missing for proper function and development. We utilize specialty testing and supplementation to identify and improve these deficiencies. Some people may have food sensitivities that are creating unrecognized inflammation, causing their brain to suffer. Others may have blood glucose dysregulation causing issues. Others may have a metabolic issue not allowing them to produce enough energy for their brain or body!

In our office we assess your child’s cognitive and learning abilities. This allows our teacher to develop an individual plan for your child. This helps them to develop underlying brain based learning issues.
