Description
Jen Buscher grew up in the Midwest but has called Montana home since 2006. She graduated from Carroll College in 2011 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing and from Montana State University in 2023 with her Doctor of Nursing Practice, specializing in mental health and psychiatric practice.
As a mother, doctorly prepared nurse practitioner, and leader, Jen aims to add tangible value to Montana communities. She is passionate about trauma-informed care, leadership, and parenting to cultivate resilient communities. She loves to work with individuals across the lifespan and has focused her career on specializing in pediatric and perinatal psychiatry. Jen holds three certificates in reproductive psychiatry from Massachusetts General Hospital and has worked with leaders in pediatric psychiatry for over a decade. Jen also worked directly with Dr. Brené Brown to better integrate emotional literacy into her work.
Outside of psychiatry, Jen is a mama to three young kids. She integrates her professional practice values into her parenting and wants to teach her kids that, above all else, they can do hard things with kindness and compassion.
